I'm writing this post in English, as for the first time ever I'm attending Mrs K's Blog Challenge with the topic Strong Woman.
This post is based on an article, which you can find in English here and in Finnish here. But, as I'm a fan of three-point lists (which you can find in my blog by the tag "top 3") and a job seeker, I chose to post about the last three qualities on the Blush list.
1. I own my feelings
Sometimes life just sucks. I don't have a job, I'm arguing with my husband and my teen-age kids. You bet I cry, shout and act like a baby. And after that - reconciliation and living life forward. Well, at least that's the goal.
2. I release guilt
Ok, I've made a bunch of mistakes in my life. As we all have. But actually, why should I carry the guilt around for the rest of my life? I can as well forgive myself. In particular, unemployment is not alone my fault. Why should I feel so damn guilty about it?
3. I support others
If you're getting a promotion and enjoying your work, why should I be jealous of that? I'm happy for you. I'm having a great life just like this, so many good things to be grateful of if I just sit down for a moment to think about it. And, when you will have that rough day - I'll be there to support you.
